The Pinot Noir from the young vineyards is vinified and bottled separately under the “JNOIR” label.
Pinot Noir was introduced on the hills of FOCARA around 1810, during the Napoleonic Empire. The cold climate and the limestone sandstone soil of this cliff on the Adriatic Sea were considered by the French administration to be ideal conditions for the cultivation of this fine variety. The Mancinis have preserved and selected the original clones for five generations of winemakers, thus specializing in the production of fine Pinot Noir.
