GlaRus The "Verdicchio of the sea"
Obtained from organic grapes and vinified naturally by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, without clarification and filtration.
GlaRus is our natural organic wine, the maximum expression of our 100% verdicchio with the scents of the sea.
A gentle breeze blows continuously over the vineyard bringing the scents of the sea directly to our bunches. This is the most important component of our Verdicchio and we wanted to enhance it.
Thanks to the care of the grapes, the right harvest time, the exclusive use of our indigenous yeasts and a vinification born from many years of trials in the cellar, we are able to fully grasp all the aromaticity that the sea breeze gives to our grapes.
GlaRus was born for this.

Area of origin "Fontenuovo" vineyard located in the territory of Senigallia (AN) just 1000 meters away from the Adriatic Sea.
Soil type: clayey-limestone - Training system: Guyot
Number of vines per hectare 4600 - Maximum production 1.5 kg per vine
Harvest: Mid-September, by hand in boxes
Vinification: Short cold pre-fermentation maceration with Ganimede vats, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel at controlled temperature for about 20 days.
Maturation: 10 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees with continuous batonnages.
In refinement, long bâtonnages on fine lees enrich the identity of a Verdicchio which therefore finds a new dimension of quality. Refinement: 6 months in the bottle
The scents of the sea, of rocks, this brackish sapidity, and then lots of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, the scents of the aromatic herbs of the coast are the intrinsic characteristics of our whites.
Then it is the structure and classic acidity of Verdicchio that allow for the production of an important wine, capable of evolving for many years without losing freshness, acquiring greater complexity and balance over time in a complex bouquet of land and sea.
