North east ridge Mazzola natural wine from the hills by the sea, artisanal, organic.
My free interpretation of seaside vineyards. I thought of the "northeast ridge" to capture the unmistakable and intense bouquet of the Lacrima vine in its youth, in the most direct way with the particularity of the maritime influence due to the position of the vineyard.
Area of origin Senigallia (AN), hilly area just 1000 meters away from the sea.
Soil type Clayey-calcareous. - Guyot training system.
Number of vines per hectare 4600 - Maximum production 1.5 kg per vine
Harvest: End of September, by hand in boxes.
Long vinification, dynamic pre-fermentation cold maceration, fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature by indigenous yeasts.
Aging 6 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees.
It moves away from the canons of a traditional red wine to enter the concept of a fragrant seafood red,
fresh, not at all tannic, but rich in facets of flowers and red fruits, spices and balsamic notes
with the clay soil that reveals itself in the mouth giving soft enveloping and fullness.
Modern wines with an authentic breath.
