Virdis Versus SorRico Marche White IGT
Production area: Stacciola. Brands PU. - Soil type: medium texture - clayey
Harvest time: third ten days of September
Harvesting method: grapes harvested by hand in small crates, selection of grapes in the vineyard by thinning and various stages of harvesting.
Vinification: soft pressing of the whole bunches, cold static decantation of the musts.
Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel. Rest on the fine lees.
Refinement: 6/8 months in steel vats, 2 months in the bottle
Organoleptic test
Crystalline, Straw yellow with greenish reflections
Herbaceous notes of fresh hay and aniseed; floral and fruity with notes of crunchy white-fleshed fruit and citrus.
Dry, warm, soft, with good freshness and minerality.
Pairings: Perfect both as an aperitif and throughout the meal; it exquisitely accompanies the fish-based preparations typical of the Marche coast; to be combined also with fresh cheeses and local cured meats.
