A wine that lends itself very well to aging even for 15 years and more. Alive and bright in the first 5 years. More and more complex in the years to come.
Vinification: After a maceration of 5 days the grapes are left to ferment with some punching down.
Aging: 24 months in large 25 hl oak barrels. Refinement in the bottle. Not filtered
Organoleptic examination:
Intense ruby red with violet reflections
Complex, intense flavor with fruity hints of morello cherry and cassis.
Earthy, intense and persistent, soft and sincere tannins.
Pairings: Excellent with meats accompanied by sauces, including sweet, venison, first courses with meat sauces. Medium and long-aged cheese, truffle.
Bordeaux glass after the wine has been decanted.
