Verdicchio grapes, harvested when just ripe to maintain the high acidity of the must and traditional white winemaking.
The wine is then over-ripened in the cellar, in ancient glass-lined cement tanks; only time works to create the maximum possible “tertiarization” of the sensory profile.
It is an important wine for those who love tasting wines that need to be “listened to”.

If stone had a flavor, it would taste like “Meridia”: a mineral, savoury, acidulous, long, full-bodied wine, yellow tending towards golden. It is useful to consume it with medium-aged cheeses, elaborate fish dishes, well-structured first courses, white meats or as a long aperitif and night wine.
Verdicchi are typical because the system is unrepeatable and unreproducible: this is the value, the pride and the greatest responsibility: being a style, not a fashion.
