Utopia red wine is a full body wine, obtained from pure Montepulciano grapes.
The vigna with 500 plants par hectare, is situated at 300 mt of altitude. This wine refine 18 months, in barriques, then after other 6 months the selling.
Production area: hills of Jesi
Soil: clay soil
Training system: vertical trellis with cordon/spur pruning
Plants/Ha: about 5.000
Yield/Plant: about 1,3 kg
Winemaking: maceration on the grapeskins for 15-18 days at controlled temperature of about 25°C. Aging in small oak barrels for 18 months after the harvest, followed by bottle refinement for 6 months prior to release

Colour: very deep black with blue hues
Bouquet: complex aroma, rich in overtones. Initial notes of red fruits give way to sweet liquorice and dark tobacco
Palate: notable structure. Soft tannins give way to hints of sweet spices with bitter notes.
Food pairing: filled guinea-fowl, pheasant, and fossa pecorino cheese
