THE ROOTS - BUCKSKIN was born from the deep connection to the territory that its 3 founders have in common: THE HEART OF THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS An area rich in aromas and flavours, the same ones evoked by our gin.

THE BOTANY - The unmistakable taste of BUCKSKIN gin originates from the careful choice of the 11 botanicals used, including: juniper, gentian, Pine tree, green anise, hazelnut, sour cherry, dogwood and 4 more to discover… These 11 elements are combined with skill in order to obtain a balanced and harmonious flavour.

The DISTILLATE - The London Dry method is the most refined and complex for the production of gin as it is created in a single distillation, using only and exclusively botanicals in natural form (it is not permitted to use other distillates, not even from other plants, nor other extracts of any guy). The distillation is carried out in Italy using a still of pure copper and steel created by the Müller family, important producers of stills since 1929, who export all over the world from a small town in the Black Forest in Germany.

The distillation process lasts several hours, during which the botanicals gradually release their aromas and flavors. As the alcohol evaporates, it carries these aromas with it, passes inside the condenser where it becomes liquid again and flows from the "parrot" or the final spout of the still, thus the magic of distillation takes place. The distillate full of botanical aromas is left to rest in steel barrels, where the extracted aromas mix together to create the unique flavor of BUCKSKIN gin .

As a final step , osmotic water is added (very pure and free of microplastics as it is filtered in three steps), perfect because it does not alter the flavours. Now the distillate has been brought to the optimal level to be enjoyed, i.e. 43% alcohol content and can be called London Dry Gin. This gradation is the best possible to express all the nuances of aroma that the botanicals have given it.
