Mistrà ancient sugar-free aniseed liqueur, typical of the rural areas of central-southern Marche.
The sweet liqueurs flavored with anise have very ancient origins, they came from Middle Eastern cultures, they are part of the anisette and sambuca family, while the mistra', according to European legislation, is without any kind of sweetener, therefore dry in its recipe, using alcohol ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin flavored with anethole, anise and natural flavors from the memory of our old farmers.
I took the liberty of selecting the 3 flavors that characterize my mistrà, it has an alcohol content of 46 degrees with no added sweeteners.
Mistrà is a fantastic liqueur to be re-evaluated in our culture, an excellent flavoring agent for desserts and cocktails, in the kitchen it can be combined with fish, meat, cheese, fruit and salad dishes.
How to use: Fantastic as a corrective in the barley in the cup and for coffee lovers without smooth sugar or with the fly (coffee bean) as a powerful digestive with ice and lemon, thirst-quenching aperitif with water, lemon and mint.
Warnings - Mistrà is not only good and tasty, but also healthy, it has only two limitations: individual intolerance to the product's components and excessive consumption.
