To give shape to a great cheese, it takes experience, quality milk and the passion of the whole family.

1979 The story of our cheeses begins when mother Maria Luisa learns and learns all the secrets of the preparation of mascarpone, according to the original recipe, from a skilled cheese maker who also loved to work with Pecorino.

1982 With a bigger structure, you can grow the business and start producing Pecorino!

1996 With the release of the new European Community regulation, Martarelli Formaggi obtains the EEC 11/015 stamp, which identifies the production plant and guarantees its suitability for food production, to create a healthy and quality cheese.

2003/2005 The two sons Christian and Diego, thanks to the skills acquired through university studies, improve the production and monitoring practices of the supply chain. The collection of milk, always managed independently, with selected farmers, expands. From the province of Ancona alone, to all the Marches.

Today with the same passion, dedication and extreme care of mum and dad, only the best milk and no preservatives give life to 100% Marche cheeses, genuine and quality, made according to the artisan techniques of the past.

Every day we work closely with about 35 Marche farmers.

The milk with which we make our cheeses comes from happy sheep, free to graze on the beautiful hills of the Marche.

Only selected flocks, raised in pastures and periodically checked, for milk that is constantly analyzed, pasteurized and processed within the day.

Fire, natural rennet, the expert hand of the dairyman.

We do not use any kind of preservative and anti-mold.

A day of salt, a few days of seasoning, and a pecorino with a sweet and delicate taste is ready.

We have included in our production, also mixed cheeses made with cow's milk, always of excellent quality.

Herds selected and periodically checked.

Milk constantly analyzed and pasteurized before processing.

A modern production room that has obtained the CEE 11/015 stamp, certifying its quality in full compliance with health and hygiene standards.

All this allows us to offer a natural and biologically healthy product.

Camerata Picena

Situated on the top of a hill covered with cultivated fields, in the land of castles, it overlooks the wide alluvial valley of the Esino river: all around unfolds the succession of gentle hills typical of the Marche countryside.

The signs of its medieval past are the high crenellated tower and the castle walls, which can be accessed through an arched door.

In the Cassero hamlet, the splendid castle built in 1337 is home to concerts and cultural events.
