The vineyards on the hills between Offida and Ascoli Piceno are located on clayey soils 250 meters above sea level.
Manual harvest accompanied by a scrupulous selection of the grapes.
Vinification: grapes subjected to cold pre-fermentation maceration on the skins until the start of fermentation. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in wood due to the yeasts naturally present on the berries.
A subsequent evolution in new wood for about 20 months completes the vinification and aging cycle.
Organoleptic notes
Golden yellow colour.
The typical aromas of fruit and yellow flowers are more evolved, like peach jam, then hints of saltiness and mint accompany the finish.
In the mouth it shows a remarkable thickness and power. The finish is powerful mineral and persistence.
To be tried not only with fish, but also with typical Marche meat dishes.
