The etymology of its name takes up a geographical indication, in fact designating an ancient area of the city of Matelica.
Petrara presents itself as an evolved wine, with significant maturation.
The Pagliano vineyard is oriented South - West at an altitude of 400m above sea level and enjoys greater exposure to sunlight.
Soil type: clay-limestone - Training method: Counter-espalier, Guyot pruning
Planting density 90 vines per hectare - Grape yield per ha: 90/100 quintals/ha
Harvest period: late September, early October with manual grape harvesting.
Aging: 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle

Intense straw yellow, consistent with almond and citrus notes.
Soft, mineral and savory taste with balance and persistence.
