The Borgo Paglianetto organic winery is located in the heart of the Marche region, in the valley that extends between Fabriano and Camerino. Inserted in the heart of the Verdicchio di Matelica Doc and Docg production area, Borgo Paglianetto aims to make quality the essence of its being. The evocative Matelica area preserves history, art and tradition. In fact, the vine represents part of the millenary culture of Matelica.

Born in 2008 with its 29 hectares, Borgo Paglianetto extends over the hills of Matelica in a closed valley, the so-called Alta Valle dell'Esino, representing the only case in the Marche region due to the unusual north-south orientation, a determining factor for the creation of that particular microclimate which allows the cultivation of grapes of the highest quality. Precisely thanks to these conditions it is possible to obtain a wine characterized by a solid structure but capable, at the same time, of maintaining freshness, sapidity, depth and balance.

The company has certified organic since 2013 in full respect of the territory, in the belief that this attention guarantees the consumer to find the maximum expression of grape variety and terroir in each glass. Each of our bottles wants to be a unique and peculiar expression of the terroir, the exclusive fruit of the will of nature as well as the result of our inexhaustible passion.
