Ciabattoni Mattioli family, originally from the Municipality of Cossignano in the heart of the Piceno, entrepreneurs and farmers in the wine sector since 1968, the year in which the land suitable for the cultivation of vines was purchased, including among the Municipalities of: Castel di Lama - Appignano del Tronto - Offida.
Carlo Ciabattoni, co-owner of the company, has been working as an oenologist-agronomist since 2008, the year in which the Tenuta Agricola La Riserva was founded; before taking up his current role, he gained thirty years of experience in the technical management and consultancy of wineries.
The company by choice of the family leads the vineyards according to the dictates of organic farming, and as such is certified by the control body in charge. The entire wine production is organic and the wines are certified organic on the label.
Given the experience gained, the oenologist Carlo Ciabattoni guides the production, so that, from the grapes, to the vinification and aging of the wines, up to the bottling, the objective to be achieved coincides with the Total Quality in order to offer good and healthy wines for achieve full consumer satisfaction.
Today, strictly in certified organic cultivation, our wines are born from our white grapes (Pecorino, Passerina, Trebbiano, Verdicchio, Chardonnay) and red grapes (Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah) vineyards.
The company operates in the heart of the Piceno territory which boasts a tradition for grapevine and wine of the XXVI centuries, certified by the approval in the Roman imperial era for wines from the V Regio, this is the name attributed by the Romans to the Piceno.
The business center is located in Castel di Lama in Contrada San Francesco, 12 with vineyards and winery, whose construction was completed in 2012.
