The Casciotta d’Urbino PDO is a ripened cheese, made with 100% Italian High-quality milk.
Frugal, at a first glance, but with a long and rich history that makes it unique in the world.
It has a characteristic pleasant sweet taste, a soft and crumbly flesh with small holes.
Excellent as a table cheese or to enrich hot and cold dishes, like cured meat or vegetables.
Ingredients: Pasteurised sheep’s milk, pasteurized cow’s milk, salt, rennet, lactobacilli.
The crust is non edible and treated with preservatives: E 235- E 202.
Storage: Keep at temperatures between +4°C and +8°C
Usage instructions: For an optimal taste, remove from the fridge and keep at room temperature for a few hours before consuming.
