Inspired to create harmony between taste and color, the Velenosi Winery was born in 1984.
Ercole and Angela Velenosi, with Paolo Garbini since 2005, combining artisan tradition with modern technologies, have creatively reinterpreted the winemaking processes. They gave birth to a company that today brings the perfumes and nuances of the Piceno territory to the world through wines with a unique character.
We wrote it and we deeply believe it: it is indeed the basis of our company philosophy, which starts from tradition, from ancient teachings interpreted with imagination and dynamism, to awaken in the scent of a glass.
We have learned a lot from wine: we like to trace the inspiration for running the company to its positive values: clarity, sincerity, and genuine passion for work.
And then the times: not long, nor short, but natural. Those necessary to get a job well done, as required by a healthy artisan tradition that we love to constantly remember, even alongside the most advanced technology we have decided to equip ourselves with. Hence the quality.

The heart of the company is located in the historic city of Ascoli Piceno, which is located in the Marche region at a distance of about 20 km from the Adriatic Sea and at a height of 150/200 meters above sea level.
The farms of the company extend among the hills that surround the splendid valley of the Tronto river, which, thanks to its clayey and fertile soils, has always been dedicated to the cultivation of vines.
Located in the setting of the hills that stretch towards the sea, our vineyards are imbued with the most authentic flavors of the territory, to return them colored by the reflections of the wines.
The soil, clayey and fertile, and the vines, full of scents and history, tell the Piceno tradition through native and international vines. And nature is poured into a chalice.
