In recent years it has embarked on a path of constant agronomic research aimed at improving the viticultural front combined with the particularity of the soils and the reference microclimate.

The company philosophy that distinguishes it towards the market and the consumer is to be able to express in the wines the potential of nature, viticulture, technique available to it, for consistency, it vinifies only grapes produced from its own vineyards.

The Montecappone winery has the current and modern technologies that allow it to operate respecting the quality and integrity of the starting grapes.

The fermentation and aging tanks are small (80-100 hl) in order to carry out small vinifications of grapes harvested in the individual vineyards.

The cellar is arranged on three levels in order to use gravity, thus limiting the use of pumps for handling grapes and wines to a minimum.

The vineyards are bred in low back, with an extensive leaf wall that guarantees the good maturation of the bunch. Montecappone To combine the health of the grapes and respect for the environment operates according to Reg. EEC 1257/99 - measure F1 - which provides for a decrease in the synthesis chemicals to be made to the ground.

In safeguarding the ecosystem there is also the practice of the reintegration that allows the screw to be provided every year the right balance of the three main nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium).

Experiments both in the vineyard and in the cellar and technical support by qualified professionals who drive the internal staff of agronomists (the oenologist is Dr. Lorenzo Landi, who collaborates with the best Italian wineries).
