Suspended in time, clinging to a spur of rock, there is a small marvelous village that dominates the Val Fucina, at the foot of Monte San Vicino.

It is Elcito: seven inhabitants, a thousand years of history, a glorious past and today precious pearl set among the mountains of the Natural Reserve of Monte San Vicino and Monte Canfaito.

Accompanied by Ing. Marcello Muzzi, author of the book "Twelve Castles - Journey through space and time to discover the Castles of San Severino Marche", we will travel the intricate network of alleys that wind through the houses of what today looks like a ghost town, but that it was once the heart of a thriving community that lived in woodland and pastoralism.

We will enjoy evocative glimpses of nature and we will be enchanted by the beauty of the landscape that will be offered to our eyes. It will be a step back in time to discover the castle "in the clouds" of the San Severino area, also known as the small Tibet of the Marche, because of its isolated position and the surreal atmosphere that you breathe.

At the end of this little journey through the centuries we will find a taste, much more current, of the territory, and we can enjoy the sunset delighting the palate with a selection of Marche's food and wine products.

PROGRAM:
5.00 pm: meeting at the parking lot under Elcito;
5.30 pm: walk to discover the village in the company of the author;
6.30 pm: conversation on the Castles of San Severino with projection on the terrace;
7.30 pm: WINE & FOOD tasting Made in Marche.
