We have always paid the utmost attention to respecting the identities of the individual vines, aiming to make “vineyard wines”, each with its specific characteristics but all with the decisive recognition of the terroir.
The quality and naturalness of the wine are the pivot of the company and production philosophy, testified by important choices such as:
- hand picking,
- the careful selection of the bunches,
- the use of boxes of up to 20 kg to preserve the integrity of the individual berries,
- as well as scrupulous winemaking techniques.
Thanks to these attentions, from a mix made of territory, surrounding aromas, dedication and continuous work, our wines are born which, maintaining the constant fullness and finesse, testify with their character the nuances of this land and its most soul authentic.
Le tenute Rio Maggio si trovano nella zona del Fermano, in un territorio prevalentemente collinare, i cui suoli calcareo-argillosi e i declivi accentuati, assolati, rinfrescati da brezze marine e frescura notturna si prestano egregiamente alla viticoltura.
I vigneti Rio Maggio godono di una posizione privilegiata e di un microclima estremamente favorevole grazie alla vicinanza del mare, che dista soltanto 15 km.
I vigneti sono impiantanti su terreni collinari siliceo-calacarei e godono di un clima fresco e ventilato e di una buona insolazione, tali da consentire la maturazione lenta delle uve.
Montegranaro è uno dei più grandi centri della Provincia di Fermo, posto a 279 m. s.l.m., tra i fiumi Chienti a nord ed Ete Morto a sud. La tradizione ne vanta l’origine romana e ne tramanda il nome Veregra.
E' un centro calzaturiero di grande rilievo e la diffusione di tale attività risale al tardo '700. Attraverso la continua ricerca tecnologica e di stile, oggi Montegranaro si colloca nel panorama mondiale tra i maggiori centri di produzione di calzature di alta qualità.
