has been successfully carrying on since 2016, realizing his grandfather's dream: carefully working the grapes for an entire year, sublimating them with winemaking.
Each of our bottles is the expression of our love for wine and reflects how much passion we put into this work every day.
The passion for viticulture and winemaking translates into a quality wine that captures the senses and mind of those who taste it.
Experience and research, comparisons and studies have led NUMA to represent a true institution in the wine sector; from 2016 to 2019 Pier Francesco dedicated himself to the countryside, among olive groves and vineyards, reaching the maturity necessary to realize his project, thanks to the work done.
Reaching the maturity necessary to carry out his project, thanks to the work carried out since 1997 by his grandfather, an avant-garde admirer of organic agriculture, and by the experimental micro vinifications carried out during the harvest period, useful for researching the best way of winemaking and conservation of the product.
Since 2019 he has decided to vinify the white and red grapes grown in his land; after careful harvesting, processing and conservation, from 2021 over 10 thousand bottles a year are on the market, aimed mainly at customers capable of appreciating the effort and results obtained thanks to experimentation and research.
We respect the limits imposed by the European Union regarding the use of copper during treatments in the vineyard.
Indeed, we manage to stay well below these limits, using alternative products such as microorganisms and extracts of different nature,
bringing the copper residues on the final product almost to zero.
Our vineyards are nestled between mountains and hills, in a rich and varied landscape, on the green hills of Rapagnano,
at a distance of 6 km from the Adriatic Sea and at a height of 160 meters above sea level.
The location characteristically influences our wines.
