We wanted to make good products that were also safe and sustainable. With the special production system we have chosen, we help protect the final consumer, the territory and nature.

Like the generations that preceded us, we work with respect for the environment that hosts us, but with a more scientific approach and with the awareness of the repercussions of our every action.

The commitment of Monte Monaco preserves the soul of a territory, but with an eye to the future, for the good of man and the planet. We fully respond to the needs of consumers who see nutrition as a factor of prevention and well-being, a key element of a new, more sustainable and balanced lifestyle.

There can be no quality food if its production harms the environment.
We want our products to come from a short supply chain and we choose to fight waste by providing fully compostable and recyclable portioned packaging.

We choose organic farming and minimize the production steps because cultivation and production have as their primary objective the enhancement and protection of the environment.

Packaging designed to minimize the environmental impact

The packages are made with compostable bags and boxes in responsible cardboard, a certified product based on controlled wood and recycled materials.

We pay attention to the land, greenery and climate with short supply chains thanks to the pact with local farmers, using plastic free containers in responsible paper and compostable bags, fighting waste with single-portion packs.

We do not take the trust of those who choose us for granted. Each processing phase is guaranteed and tracked with blockchain technology: through the QR code on the boxes you can virtually follow the life of the product.

Quality, tradition and safety

We treat the ingredients so that they best preserve the typical characteristics. Stone milling of raw flours, low pressure bronze drawing, slow drying at low temperature allow us to produce good, rough, fragrant and natural shapes, which lend themselves to many preparations and cook in a few minutes.
We have made the wisdom of ancient processing our own and we mix the raw flours of chickpeas, lentils, beans and organic peas with mountain water to transform them into many shapes, dried with the fresh air of the hills.

Our 100% legume products have a high content of vegetable proteins, fibers, mineral salts and vitamins, are gluten-free, have a moderate glycemic index, contain little salt and little fat.

From sowing to packaging we follow a scrupulous method aimed at obtaining high quality food products. We work with the latest generation of Italian machinery.
We are certified BIO, BRC, HACCP, FDA, IFS, VEGAN and we use the Quadrans public blockchain for extreme transparency. 

We produce on the Marches region side of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, in the Central Apennines.

Our land is the short chain organic fields, our environment is the cradle of the Mediterranean diet, mountains and hills overlooking the sea, with a particular climate where legumes are born rich in precious properties spontaneously donated by unspoiled nature.

The flour used as a raw material comes from organic crops, thanks to the collaboration agreement with the farmers of the Sibillini Mountains.
