Today all aspects of production take place in very strong continuity between past and future, based on the techniques and recipes developed over a century ago by the founder. A process that has remained totally unchanged, preserving all the artisanal setting of the work.

The very delicate taste and the special aroma derive from the quality of the anise (Pimpinella Anisum) carefully cultivated in certain clayey soils located around Ascoli Piceno.
With suitable distillers the anise gives the aromatic part of the product to the alcohol. The result is an alcoholic liqueur with a high alcohol content called "aniciato".
For the production of anisette a particular "aroma" is added which is always produced by distillation of various spices.
Aging is necessary because in this phase the anisette strips, forming a deposit on the walls of the container and amalgamates the various components that give it that unmistakable taste.
In occasione della ricorrenza del 150/o della sua fondazione la Ditta Silvio Meletti di Ascoli Piceno arricchisce la sua vasta collezione di poster d’autore con un nuovo capolavoro realizzato dall’illustratore piemontese Riccardo Guasco.
Meletti vanta uno dei più ricchi archivi storici d’impresa d’Italia; al suo interno una rilevanza particolare la riveste la collezione di poster pubblicitari molti dei quali a firma dei più importanti e prestigiosi disegnatori e illustratori italiani.
In occasione della presentazione del nuovo poster, avvenuta in presenza dell’artista, presso lo storico Caffè Meletti di Ascoli, la Ditta Silvio Meletti ha donato alla Città di Ascoli, nella persona del sindaco Marco Fioravanti, un’altra opera sempre dell’artista piemontese, realizzata appositamente per promuovere il territorio.
La pandemia ci ha bloccato nelle nostre città impedendo di fatti i viaggi internazionali. Pertanto il turismo, che riveste una importanza fondamentale nell’economia del territorio, ha subito un forte contraccolpo. Per ripartire è importante rilanciare quanto prima l’immagine di Ascoli sia a livello nazionale che internazionale.Un poster pubblicitario ad una firma prestigiosa che possa essere sia valore aggiunto che veicolo dell’immagine della storica città di Ascoli Piceno. L’illustrazione potrà essere usata non solo dal comune ma anche dai concittadini e dalle aziende del Piceno che volessero inserirla per arricchire la proprie brochure, siti internet, depliant, stand fieristici e quant’altro.
