Pink Strologo Silvano Brut Sparkling Rosé from Montepulciano grapes
Production: approximately 5,000 0.75-liter bottles - Contains sulfites
Vineyard located at 230 meters above sea level. South-facing. Spurred cordon training system.
Harvest is done by hand on all 12 hectares of red vines, after mid-August or early September. Nature, combined with careful vineyard work, has resulted in grapes rich in sugars and excellent aromas, where the winemaker's skill makes the difference in the quality of the wines.
Winemaking - This product differs from the rosé in its production method, which is carried out in an autoclave using the Martinotti or long Charmat method, with maturation on the lees for 90-120 days and aging in bottle for 1-2 months.
Tasting Notes
Pale color, ranging from light pink to salmon pink, light and delicate; The small irregularities in the glass give rise to a string of fine, persistent bubbles that continue to the sides of the glass.
Aromas of peach, apple, and apricot with balanced intensity, refined and youthful in evolution.
Intense on the palate with sensations of freshness, with good fullness and length. Pairing: as an aperitif, with appetizers, pizza, fresh cheeses, and a wine to accompany all meals, especially shellfish and light fish.
Cellar equipped with modern and rational steel fermentation tanks, truncated cone fermentation vats in French oak, all at a controlled temperature for the vinification of quality red wines and small wooden barrels for the "élevage" of the wines undergoing refinement.
