It is a wine of remarkable structure and elegance, soft and powerful at the same time.
Late harvest to favor the concentration of the content of the grape berries
The three vines are fermented separately in steel in contact with their skins at about 26°-28°C for about 20 days.
In January the last part of the Montepulciano grapes is fermented (the one that undergoes a drying process).
After this last fermentation we combine the masses of wine to proceed with an aging in French barriques for about 18 months before bottling.
Organoleptic characteristics
Intense purple red with violet reflections.
Very intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as morello cherry, blackberry and plum, spicy aftertaste with notes of leather and hints of vanilla and chocolate.
Warm, full and very fruity flavor, rich and enveloping on the palate, with soft tannins and a fruity finish.
Pairings: Perfect with beef steaks, game and braised meats, mature hard cheeses.
