Magnum Champagne Blanc de Noirs Alain Couvreur

"Couvreur Champagnes rarely disappoint. It's hard to find them boring; don't be afraid to let them age in the cellar."

A wine characterized by maturity, great drinkability, balance, and flavor. Its excellent frankness is to be appreciated.

The winery is located in the Champagne region west of the city of Reims, more precisely in Prouilly, where quality wines have been produced for centuries.

The calcareous clay soil is ideal for Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier thrives in the sandy soil of Prouilly, while the silty limestone of Branscourt favors Pinot Noir.

In the cellar, vinification takes place in stainless steel, without barrels. 100% stainless steel; malolactic fermentation carried out; Blend: 50% latest vintage wines and 50% reserve wines. Aged for 5 years.

We love it because the result is a Brut with character, fruity yet powerful.

The color is straw yellow, with a fine and persistent perlage.

The nose is fruity with aromas of peach, apricot, and pear. On the palate, it immediately displays an excellent balance between rich structure and minerality. The finish is refreshing and succulent.

Pairings: Perfect with a charcuterie board as an aperitif or appetizer, while at dinner it pairs perfectly with main courses of poultry or white meat.
