Roncaja is the Colli Pesaresi DOC white wine, a symbol of Pesaro's winemaking tradition. Produced by Fattoria Mancini, a historic winery located in the heart of the Monte San Bartolo Natural Park, just 1.5 km from the Adriatic coast.
Contains sulfites.
Roncaja is made from 70% Albanella and 30% Pinot Noir, harvested by hand and immediately chilled in the vineyard using a mobile cold room to preserve their aromatic integrity.
The wine is cold-fermented in stainless steel, without malolactic fermentation, and aged on the lees for four months to enhance its freshness and complexity.
In the glass, it displays a pale yellow color with greenish highlights. The aroma is dominated by citrus notes, white flowers, and salty accents. On the palate, it is fresh, taut, and well-structured, with a marked minerality and a long, savory finish, reflecting the influence of the sea and the unique characteristics of the silty limestone sandstone soil.
A distinctive and long-lived white wine, perfect with grilled fish, raw fish, seafood appetizers, and vegetarian cuisine.
Winery founded in 1861 with vineyards located in the Monte San Bartolo Natural Park.
Very long-lived wines, with great balance between structure, depth, freshness and elegance.
