Tasting notes
It fills the glass with an intense ruby red.
On the nose it is elegant and complex with the scent of ripe plums, cherries, blackberries, resin and pine needles; balsamic and refreshing notes are softened by spicy and toasted aromas, with notes of liquorice, vanilla and tobacco.
On the palate it has great structure but extraordinarily balanced. Ripe fruit, spices and undergrowth satisfy the palate long after the sip.
Pairings: goes well with grilled red meats, game and mature cheeses. We recommend uncorking well in advance.
