Organic red wine Marche Merlot TGI Bisci winery, a warm red for the non-daily days of the week.
The grapes are harvested by hand.
Vinification: After a soft pressing and destemming, fermentation takes place through maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature with subsequent maturation in cement.
It is then refined in the bottle for at least 3 months.
Technical characteristics
Ruby red.
Fascinating aroma of red berries, noble wood and aromatic herbs, in the background a discreet smoky component.
On the palate it is precise and tense, with a wonderful primary fruity core, framed by licorice and a dry bouquet of Mediterranean herbs.
Pairings: it is perfect to accompany first courses, second courses based on meat and mature cheeses.
"Bisci is a heavyweight in the small DOC Verdicchio di Matelica. Here the size and quality go hand in hand, and the Verdicchio di Bisci are among the best in the Marche.
I especially like the fact that they are very loyal to the Matelica terroir: with important acidity and refined, with a dry quality similar to Riesling. " Ian D'Agata
