The Chianti Riserva from Fattoria Pagnana is a wine of depth and refinement, made from Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes.
This classic Tuscan blend undergoes careful vinification in cement tanks, with a two-week maceration time on the skins and fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine then ages for six months in cement, 12 months in large oak barrels and a further six months in bottle for optimal refinement. The result is a ruby red wine with garnet hues and purple reflections.
In the glass, it shows the recognisable balsamic freshness of Pagnana's style, enriched with soft notes of cocoa and a velvety mouthfeel.
The nose is powerful and structured, while the palate remains full, lively and surprisingly fresh.
This combination of elegance and character makes this Riserva a standout within the Chianti segment.
