Giovanni and Federico believe in the excellence potential of their viticultural terroir by following a method: observe, observe to intuit and then believe.
Aware of the treasure enclosed in the land of the area, in 1964 Adrio and Arnaldo Pesaresi set up an agricultural business, dedicated to the cultivation of fruit trees and vineyards: thus the Casa Vinicola Pesaresi was born in this stage of rare beauty, the Conero, which it includes a stretch of coast in the Ancona area.
About 20 years ago the baton of the family business passed to Federico and Giovanni Pesaresi who believe in the excellence potential of their viticultural terroir; they plant new vineyards and set up a more technological cellar but remaining tied to tradition with a personal way of making wine.
The vineyard on the Trave plateau is the result of their method of winemakers by vocation with the intention of transferring the passion for the vine and the vitality that their terroir expresses into the bottle.
The characteristic staircase entirely in manually laid wood allows access from the cellar to the vineyard in its main body, which largely includes rows of Montepulciano vines and rows of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Verdicchio vines and a consistent sequence of rows of Sauvignon blanc.
The second and more recent vineyard is located on the Trave plateau where the rows of Montepulciano run perpendicular to the waves of the Adriatic Sea below.
The Company has completed the process of acquiring the certification on the management of the vineyards according to the principles of organic agriculture.
From the harvest, all the production will be organic.
"Hi, we are a small winery, we work our vineyards with respect for nature,
we transform the sun into wine, let it rest in the best barriques and bottle it to enjoy it in your daily or festive moments.
We can also give you a unique experience, taking you to taste our wines in the panoramic vineyard, where we organize parties during the summer"
Varano, a fraction of Ancona, is considered by the forerunners of the winegrowers who collaborated in the creation of the DOC Rosso Conero disciplinary (established in 1967) as the heart of the wine-growing vocation of the area facing Monte Conero.
The particular clayey-calcareous composition of the soils, the hilly position, the south-west exposure and the ventilation of the facing Adriatic Sea contribute to the definition of a very favorable microclimate for the cultivation of vines in particular that of Montepulciano which on site up to half of the twentieth century it was called Cordisco.
