Cuvée Prestige Franciacorta DOCG Extra Brut 48th Edition Ca Del Bosco.
Love for one's land. The finest expression of the Franciacorta soils. Experiences and insights that, one harvest after another, allow for a deep understanding of the raw material—the grapes—and the long transformation process that turns them into wine.
Grape varieties for the 2023 vintage: 80.5% Chardonnay, 1.5% Pinot Blanc, 18% Pinot Noir.
Vineyards: 185 Chardonnay vineyards, 8 Pinot Blanc vineyards, and 52 Pinot Noir vineyards.
Blend: 88% 2023 vintage wines, 10% 2022 reserve wines, 2% 2021 reserve wines.
2023 vintage: harvest period: second ten days of August.
Vinification conducted in full compliance with the Ca' del Bosco Method. The grapes, hand-picked into small crates, are sorted and chilled.
A special system washes and hydromassages the bunches, using three soaking tanks and a drying tunnel.
After pressing in the absence of oxygen, all the musts for the base wines ferment in temperature-controlled steel tanks and remain there until the following March. Seven months of aging are therefore necessary for the wine to clarify, mature, and fully reveal the character of the original vineyards.
The wines are then expertly blended in the "magical ritual" of creating the cuvée. Only after aging on the lees for at least two years can this Franciacorta express its full richness and identity.
Dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, making our Franciacortas purer, more enjoyable, and longer-lived. Finally, each bottle is uniquely marked to ensure traceability.
Tirage: from April to June of the year following the harvest.
Medium aging on the lees: On average, 25 months during the year of release. Flavor: "Extra Brut."
Straw yellow color
Fruity aromas of peach, flowers, and citrus blend with notes of bread and toasted almonds. Fresh flavor.

Two principles define the entire production process, from selection in the vineyard to the cellar: quality and excellence.
