The Paccucce di Colmurano from the Azienda Agricola Le Spiazzette, a traditional product from the Macerata area, are apples dehydrated in a moderately hot oven, drowned in cooked wine.
They are excellent to be enjoyed on their own for a sweet end to a lunch. They can also be used to create special desserts or in combination with some aged cheese.
Ingredients: Dried Slow Food Presidium Pink Apple of the Sibillini Mountains, cooked wine, water, sugar.
