Could I have interrupted the tradition? Never!

My grandparents and my father made their own peasant wine in times without professional winemakers.
This is Valter Mattoni's answer to those who ask him why he spends so much time locked in the winery, a prisoner of his small and passionate production.

Could I have interrupted the tradition? Never!
Valter Mattoni

In 2000 Arshura was born, a magic word that refers to an atavistic thirst, like the passion of Valter's family.

Arshura is born from Montepulciano grapes vinified in purity in one of the most wine-oriented areas of all the Marche, in the heart of Italy, on the gentle hills of Ascoli, three hundred meters above sea level that can be glimpsed on the horizon, in clayey and alluvial soils.

Valter was born in 1960 in Castorano. His nickname is Roccia and his job is a decorator. It is well known that Roccia is also a prisoner of other passions such as old things and motorcycles, but we like him above all for his four thousand bottles of Arshura. Of course.
