Castellero Barolo Castellero DOCG Giacomo Fenocchio.

A wine capable of growing and evolving for many years. Contains sulfites.

All wines come exclusively from estate-owned vineyards located in Bussia di Monforte d'Alba; Villero in Castiglione; Cannubi in Barolo; and Falletto.

These Grand Crus have long been recognized as climatic subzones particularly suited to producing wines with outstanding organoleptic qualities and aristocratic structure.

The different soil characteristics, and particularly the different subsoil composition in the various subzones, give rise to wines that vary from vineyard to vineyard.

The microclimate and excellent vineyard exposures (southeast and southwest) create favorable conditions for grape ripening and impart a biochemical value to the grapes that determine the exceptional organoleptic qualities of the resulting wines.

Robust body

Matured for 6 months in stainless steel vats, 30 months in large Slavonian oak barrels (20-25 hl), followed by bottle aging. Aged in barrels for over 24 months.

Intense, classic garnet color.

Clean and well-structured aroma on the nose with floral and fruity notes, with hints of roots and licorice.

Aromas: Balsamic, Woody, Floral, Fruity, Spicy

A wine with character and well-defined tannins. Velvety and harmonious with notes of sweet spices and jam.

A meditation wine, ideal with meat-based first courses, red meats, aged cheeses, and desserts.
