The carefully selected grapes come from vineyards located on soils with a wide geological variability, capable of expressing great complexity.
Upon arrival at the winery, the selected grapes were destemmed and softly pressed.
Fermentation and maceration took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 10-15 days at a temperature of 28-30°C.
A portion of the Merlot and Syrah musts were kept at lower fermentation temperatures to better preserve the varietal aromas.
Malolactic fermentation took place partly in barriques and partly in stainless steel tanks, and was completed by the end of the year for all varieties.
The Cabernet Sauvignon was then blended with Merlot, Syrah, and small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The resulting wine was then re-barriqued, where it rested before bottling.
It displays the usual intense ruby red color.
On the nose, notes of ripe red berries dominate, accompanied by pleasant hints of sweet spices, light menthol notes, and tobacco aromas.
On the palate, it is well-structured and enveloping, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste that makes it easy to drink and persistent.
