Coroncinus monocultivar extra virgin olive oil.
The 2024/2025 Coroncinus vintage is in splendid shape and shows off all its complexity of scents and notes of bitterness and spiciness that make it unique in the world.
A rare and precious product, Coroncinus is a monovarietal oil closely linked to the territory of the municipalities of Belforte del Chienti, Caldarola, Camporotondo, Cessapalombo and Serrapetrona, in fact it is produced exclusively with 100% Coroncina variety olives harvested in this restricted part of the Macerata hinterland.
The intense hint of artichoke, a distinctive trademark of the Coroncina variety, is accompanied in this fortunate vintage also by a light, yet decisive, hint of tomato, with a green and vibrant fruitiness that touches the deepest chords of the palate.
Coroncinus will enrich every dish you bring to the table, even the simplest, like the winter minestrone, with pumpkin, potatoes, carrots, black cabbage and a cream of cannellini beans.
The bitter and spicy notes of the oil balance without mortifying the sweet notes of the pumpkin and carrot, the intense fruitiness enhances the aromas of the spices and vegetables.
Between the minestrone and toasted bread, we (literally) spent half a bottle of oil...Good for davv-EVO!
"Talking about the oil: the Coroncina" autochthonous variety of olive tree, little cultivated but much appreciated.
The Association brings together a group of producers and enthusiasts of oil and other typical agricultural products of the upper Macerata area and promotes local excellence.
