Federico Mencaroni represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family.
The pride, the love for the places of origin and the passion for wine keep him tied to this piece of territory, where the winemaking traditions and the enological knowledge transmitted by his grandfather Urbano and his uncle Nevio, have landed in technique and hands wiser.
Over the years he has understood that no one is born already gifted with talent, but that this grows if you surround yourself with vines, wines and a cellar, you have to become part of the life of the vine and the territory; the vine suffers to produce good grapes, the vines are very rational and intelligent, their cultivation is purely academic and does not involve anything artistic.
Passion, research and experience are mixed in a glass of wine that is the mirror of the work that develops entirely in the company with infinite care, innovation and tradition, respect for the product and careful control.
No production phase is delegated to third parties; all this allows to create a wine of guaranteed personality and quality.
Federico can be defined as a wine artisan, the craftsmanship characterizes the whole philosophy and the production cycle, the ideas and the subsequent realization of the same are born and developed entirely in the company, starting from the oenological experiments up to the bottling and labeling of all the resulting products.
The Mencaroni Farm is located in Corinaldo, an ancient village of Roman origin perched on rolling hills, covered with crops and spontaneous nature, which surround it as far as the eye can see.
Immersed in these hills, with one gaze turned towards the mountains and another towards the Adriatic Sea, the company's vineyards have their roots in this land on which they feed, and then return it to the wines: flavor, minerality, freshness and aromas , hints of nature and authenticity.
