CALIGOLA
Caligola is a leather lamp made with a completely handcrafted system reusing the industrial waste of shoe factories, in particular the result of cutting leather.
Each lamp is different from the others because of the diversity and uniqueness of the raw material.
It matches with both modern and classic or vintage furniture.
The base and the lampholder are made of wood, light bulb included.
The perforation of the leather creates special and always different light effects. The product is highly ecological and sustainable, recyclable, innovative, versatile. The reuse of materials otherwise destined for landfill gives the product a high factor of competitiveness and innovation.waste is a very current issue and it is difficult to find a solution.
A change of perspective is needed: sustainable design.
The intent to give a second chance to "waste", especially leather from shoe factories and leather goods. Unique furnishings, exclusively handmade in recovered and recycled material, completely Made in Italy, in the name of eco-sustainability.
