Etymology of the name "Mo Leone": denomination deriving from the craftsman who builds the barrels 'cooper', in dialect 'bottaro' (Il Bottaio Leone). It is thought that once Mo' could have been the abbreviated form of Maestro. Therefore Master cooper Leone.

South-south-east vineyard exposure

Harvest: mid/end of September with collection of grapes harvested by hand and in small crates.
Vinification: whole cluster soft pressing, cold static decantation of the musts. Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel.
