“Quattordici”, the hard-working protagonist of the Italo Calvino fairy tale of the same name, is a sparkling Brut based on Verdicchio with great freshness, good structure and pleasant softness. Ideal as an aperitif.
It prefers pairing with fish and vegetable crudités.

Soil type: of alluvial marine sedimentary origin, with prevalence of Plio-Pleistocene and Miocene clay.
Training system: Gujot and double gujot.
Plant density: 3100 plants / ha
Yield per hectare: about 85 quintals - Vineyard age: 20 years
Vinification: early manual harvest, in the cooler hours of the day with soft pressing, fermentation at low temperature and re-fermentation in autoclave for the taking of foam which takes place very slowly, then refines in the bottle in a temperature-controlled warehouse.
