Soil: of medium-deep alluvial origin, medium-textured, clayey-silty with the presence of gravelly-type calcareous sediments.
Yield: 50 q.li/ha - Altitude of the vineyard: m. 150 above sea level
Training: spurred cordon
Density: 6000 plants / ha
Harvest period: Second week of September for Merlot, second week of October for Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
Vinification: In concrete tanks at a controlled temperature of 28° C, with maceration on the skins for about 20 days.
Maturation: 15 months in 70% new tonneaux - Aging: 24 months in the bottle
Organoleptic notes
Dark ruby red to the eye.
Deep and intense on the nose, it gives olfactory notes first of berries in jam, then of aromatic herbs - such as sage and rosemary - of rhubarb mushrooms and undergrowth.
On the palate the tannins are energetic, the texture is rich and the body is important. Elegant wine with dense and sweet tannins, with a soft structure and an intense and persistent finish.
Pairings: ideal for structured preparations, game and wild boar.
