DORICO Reserve a pure Montepulciano produced only in the best years, Moroder from 1937 winemakers in the Conero.

 

First year of production: 1985
Production area: hills at the foot of Monte Conero; South-East South exposure; 250 m asl Vineyard of 4 ha. of 1959.
Soil type: clay and calcareous marl interbedded with sand
Breeding system: guyot
Yield per hectare: 40 quintals of grapes (30 hl of wine)

Harvest: selection of the grapes in the first ten days of October

Vinification: Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 3/5 days. Beginning of with indigenous yeasts. 20 days of maceration on the skins with daily pumping over. Malolactic fermentation in wood.
Aging : 30 months in barriques, 6 months in bottle
Number of bottles produced: 10,000

Organoleptic examination
The deep and impenetrable red framed by vivid ruby reflections typical of Montepulciano announce all its explosive power.
The pleasant sensations of ripe black cherry, ether and spices merge with the extraordinary gustatory elegance imbued with flavor, good alcohol and perfect tannins.
Balance and harmony are sublimated.

Pairings: A wine for the great Italian dishes, made of roasted or flavored red meats and aromas such as braised and overcooked. It also accompanies the game, perfect with aged cheeses.
