The Marche Easter is celebrated since breakfast. This custom, which has ancient origins but nowadays remains widespread in many families Marche, provides an abundant meal consisting of sausages, lamb cutlets, eggs (usually blessed) CHEESE PIZZA and CIAMBELLA " strozzosa". All accompanied by good wine or, in many cases, by Vernaccia dry. This tradition, as well as a moment of conviviality, is meant to represent (from the religious point of view) the end of Lent and, therefore, fasting to return to the celebrations and life.

Cheese pizza and Easter ciambella, also called "strozzosa" are two of the most representative Easter products of the Marche region. The first, in conjunction with the excellent ciauscolo, is soft and tasty, a must for lovers of cheeses; the second, more crunchy, lends itself well both as a dessert that accompanied by salamis, excellent in each case.
