The sour notes of the fruit are wisely balanced by the sweetness of the preserving solution, a balance to be savored alone or by adding it to other preparations, such as ice cream, cream and fruit salad or as a garnish for homemade cakes and pies.
Contains good doses of potassium and vitamin A. It has diuretic, laxative, detoxifying and decongestant properties.
